Course Content
The qualification will cover the following areas:
Principles of Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures
Learners will develop a comprehensive understanding of professional practice, legal responsibilities, ethical considerations, treatment planning and evidence-based approaches within advanced aesthetics.
Client Assessment for Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures
This unit develops advanced consultation skills including client assessment, treatment suitability, informed consent, medical history evaluation and expectation management.
Advanced Skin Science for Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures
Learners will gain detailed knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, ageing processes, wound healing and dermatological factors influencing treatment outcomes.
Complication Management and Emergency Plan Implementation
This section focuses on recognising, managing and responding appropriately to complications and emergencies within aesthetic practice.
Advanced Chemical Peel Treatments for Skin Rejuvenation
Learners will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to safely perform advanced chemical peel treatments designed to improve skin quality and appearance.
Advanced Skin Needling Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation
Training covers advanced skin needling procedures, treatment planning, practical application and client management.
Needle Mesotherapy Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation and Hair Restoration
This unit introduces needle mesotherapy techniques used to support skin rejuvenation and hair restoration treatments.
Light Emitting Diode (LED) Phototherapy for Skin Rejuvenation
Learners will understand the application of LED phototherapy and its role within advanced skin rejuvenation protocols.
Entry Requirement
Learners must be aged 18 years or over.
Applicants are required to hold a recognised Level 4 qualification in Advanced Aesthetic Therapies for Skin Rejuvenation or an equivalent qualification.
Learners must also hold a regulated Level 3 Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis qualification.
Duration
This qualification includes approximately 174 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and 298 Total Qualification Time (TQT).
