Course Content

Hairdressing Course Modules can include units in:

• Ensure responsibility for actions to reduce risks to health and safety
• Give customers a positive impression of yourself and your organisation
• Advise and consult with clients
• Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
• Change hair colour
• Cut hair using basic techniques
• Style and finish hair
• Set and dress hair
• Promote additional services or products to customers

Entry Requirements

A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a polished personal appearance and adhering to high standards of hygiene. Genuine enthusiasm and a sincere passion for hairdressing are essential qualities. Collaboration and teamwork are crucial, as you’ll frequently collaborate with fellow colleagues. Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory, with fluency expected in all aspects of communication. Additionally, applicants may undergo an entry test if deemed necessary, with initial entry facilitated through an interview process.

Duration

Qualification Awarded

DIVINE academy provides qualifications that are acknowledged by the industry. Upon finishing your course and presenting adequate evidence, you will receive the following certifications.

• VTCT Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing (AH20147) – Awarded by VTCT Examination Board
• Diploma of Hairdressing – Awarded by The Divine Academy

This certificate will enable you to obtain insurance from any recognized Insurance Company

KIT Required

Uniform- Tunic, Black Trousers, Closed shoes.

You will need to purchase some materials & hairdressing kit (including round brushes, combs, blow-dryer etc.)
