This qualification offers advanced therapy treatments for both the face and body, serving as a natural progression from Level 2. Upon completion, you will emerge as a highly sought-after therapist in the job market, equipped with exceptional expertise in advanced body and facial therapies. If you already hold qualifications in certain units, they can be accredited to the diploma, although you may need to demonstrate your skills to your lecturer.
The course, comprising 8 units, is conducted within a very short timeframe, necessitating 100% commitment and attendance. Case studies will be required for most units, requiring you to dedicate reasonable time to develop and practice these new skills. Our academy provides a salon where we will arrange clients for you to work on, in coordination with your lecturer.

Course Content
The course will cover the following modules:
This unit builds upon your training in Health and Safety, focusing on reinforcing the correct procedures for conducting risk assessments within the working environment.
In this unit, you will explore various aspects of promotions and promotional activities. You will need to cover all aspects of promotions and provide details on how and who your target audience will be.
This unit will encompass the study of all major systems of the human body, including the Skeletal, Muscular, Digestive, Urinary, Endocrine, Lymphatic, Nervous, Cardiovascular, and Respiratory systems. Workbooks will be provided for each system to facilitate home study.
After completing the study of human anatomy and physiology, you will be introduced to the classic deep-tissue Swedish body massage techniques. Through practical exercises in pairs, you will have the opportunity to both give and receive massages to fully understand the effects of various techniques. You will learn to use oil, cream, and talc tailored to different skin types and adapt your techniques to suit individual needs. Additionally, within this unit, you will learn the appropriate usage of G5, Audio Sonic, and Infra-Red mechanical treatments.
This module offers a comprehensive study of Aromatherapy, including a specific massage routine. You will delve into the sourcing, extraction, distillation, properties, and benefits of essential oils. Additionally, you will learn how to blend essential oils to tailor to your clients’ needs. This module also entails conducting case studies at home to further your understanding and practical application of aromatherapy techniques.
This unit encompasses various Indian massage movements, with a particular focus on Indian Head Massage. Indian Head Massage works on the energy of chakras and serves as an effective method for alleviating stress and its impacts on the body’s systems. Tension is released through muscle relaxation, and enhanced circulation to the brain aids in clearing the mind and improving hair and scalp conditions. Throughout this unit, you will learn how to perform, adapt, and provide aftercare advice for Indian Massage techniques.
This unit focuses on a distinctive massage technique utilizing hot stones, which allows for a deeper and more penetrative massage without causing fatigue to the therapist. This technique has gained significant popularity in health farms, spas, and salons in recent years. It offers excellent relaxation benefits and is particularly effective for deep tissue massage, with the added advantage of heat therapy.

Entry Requirements
In order to enrol in this demanding course, completion of Level 2 beauty therapy is compulsory. End-of-unit tests will be conducted upon completion of each unit.
A solid general education background is essential for successfully undertaking this course.
Proficiency in English is mandatory. You must possess fluency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English. An entry test may be required to assess your English proficiency.
Duration
This course is available either during daytime sessions spanning 12 weeks or evening sessions extending over 28 weeks. Achieving success in the fast-track daytime course requires your full attention.

Optional: Students may choose to spend 1 day working in a salon for work experience.
