Course Content

The course will cover the following modules:

Work Operation

This unit extends your training in Health and Safety, focusing on implementing correct procedures for conducting risk assessments within the workplace environment.

Promotional Activities
In this unit, you will explore various aspects of promotions and promotional activities. You will need to provide details on how these activities will be carried out and identify your target audience.

Anatomy & Physiology
This unit encompasses the study of all major systems of the human body, including the Skeletal, Muscular, Digestive, Urinary, Endocrine, Lymphatic, Nervous, Cardiovascular, and Respiratory systems. Workbooks on each of these systems will be provided for home study.

Body Massage

After completing the study of human anatomy and physiology, you will be introduced to the classic deep-tissue Swedish body massage techniques. Through hands-on practice in pairs, you will have the opportunity to both give and receive massages to better understand the effects of various techniques. You will learn to use oil, cream, and talc suited for different skin types, and adapt your techniques accordingly to meet the needs of different individuals. Additionally, within this unit, you will learn the proper usage of G5, Audio Sonic, and Infra-Red mechanical Stone massage treatments.

Body Electrical Treatments

This unit will cover a range of electrical treatments for the body, including:

• Faradic
• Vacuum suction
• Microdermabrasion
• Micro-current
• High Frequency
• Galvanic body treatments

Facial Electrical Treatments

This unit will focus on electrical treatments specifically designed for the face, which include:

• Faradic
• Vacuum suction
• Microdermabrasion
• Micro-current
• High Frequency
• Galvanic face treatments

You will learn about the application, benefits, and safety protocols associated with each of these treatments for facial rejuvenation and skincare.

Electrical Epilation Treatment

You will be instructed on how to perform permanent hair removal, known as electrical epilation, on all areas of the face and body. This will involve learning the techniques of Short-Wave Diathermy and the ‘blend’ methods.

Entry Requitements

Completion of Level 2 beauty therapy is mandatory for this course. End-of-unit tests will be conducted upon finishing each unit.

A solid general education background is crucial for successfully undertaking this challenging course.

Proficiency in English is essential. You must be capable of fluently speaking, reading, writing, and comprehending English. You may be required to take an entry test to assess your English proficiency.

Duration

This course is available either during the daytime, spanning 12 weeks, or in the evenings, extending over 28 weeks. Opting for the fast-track daytime course necessitates your full attention to achieve accelerated progress.
