Course Content
The qualification will cover the following areas:
Principles and Practice of Bio-Stimulating and Remodelling Injectable Products
Learners will develop comprehensive knowledge of bio-stimulatory injectable products, their mechanisms of action, treatment applications and clinical outcomes.
Product Selection and Pharmacology
This section explores the chemical properties, pharmacology and clinical indications of a variety of bio-stimulatory products used within aesthetic practice.
Patient Assessment and Treatment Planning
Learners will develop advanced consultation and assessment skills to determine treatment suitability and create individualised treatment plans.
Safe Administration Techniques
Training covers evidence-based injection techniques, treatment protocols and safe administration procedures for bio-stimulatory injectable treatments.
Risk Management and Complication Prevention
Learners will gain knowledge of complication prevention, risk assessment, patient monitoring and appropriate management procedures.
Entry Requirement
Learners must be aged 19 years or over.
Applicants must be registered with a professional healthcare statutory regulatory body and have no conditions attached to their practice.
Additionally, learners are required to evidence achievement of the VTCT Skills Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments or an equivalent qualification.
Learners are not required to be independent prescribers, as treatments are undertaken under appropriate prescribing oversight.
Duration
This qualification includes approximately 40 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and 130 Total Qualification Time (TQT).
