Health & Safety
This section focuses on maintaining a safe and controlled treatment environment when performing ultrasound cavitation procedures. You will learn how to minimise risks, follow correct procedures, and work in line with UK health and safety standards.
It also covers practitioner responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safe use of electrical equipment.

Ultrasound Cavitation Treatment
This section introduces the complete cavitation procedure from consultation through to treatment delivery. You will understand how ultrasonic waves target and break down fat cells for body contouring. The focus is on achieving safe, consistent, and effective treatment outcomes.

Body Anatomy & Fat Reduction Principles
This section covers relevant body anatomy, including fat cell structure and metabolism. You will learn how the body processes and eliminates disrupted fat cells.
This knowledge supports safe practice and improves treatment planning.

Device Handling & Treatment Parameters
You will learn how to safely operate ultrasound cavitation devices, including adjusting frequency, intensity, and treatment duration.
The aim is to ensure controlled energy delivery, client comfort, and optimal results.

Infection Control & Client Safety
This section focuses on maintaining hygiene standards and preventing cross-contamination. You will learn the correct use of PPE and safe handling of equipment.
It ensures safe working practices throughout all treatment procedures.

Entry Requirement
A relevant qualification in beauty therapy, aesthetics, body treatments or a related field is recommended. Previous experience in body or skin treatments, together with a basic understanding of anatomy, consultation and professional hygiene, is also beneficial. Applicants without all of this prior knowledge may still be considered, as the essential foundation principles will be introduced, reviewed and reinforced throughout the course.

Duration
This CPD course is delivered over 2 days with a total of 16 guided learning hours.
The training includes both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Costs
The cost of the course is £420.00.

Qualification Awarded
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a CPD certificate awarded by Divine Hair and Beauty Training Academy.
