This section focuses on maintaining a safe and controlled clinical environment when performing electrolysis blemish removal treatments. You will learn how to minimise risks, follow correct procedures, and work in line with UK health and safety standards.
It also covers practitioner responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safe use of electrical equipment.
Electrolysis Blemish Removal Treatment
This section introduces the complete electrolysis procedure for removing minor blemishes such as skin tags, milia, spider veins, and other superficial imperfections.
The focus is on achieving safe, precise, and effective treatment outcomes.
Skin Anatomy & Blemish Identification
This section covers the structure of the skin and how to correctly identify different types of blemishes suitable for treatment.
You will learn to distinguish between treatable conditions and those requiring medical referral.
Electrolysis Techniques & Current Types
You will learn how to use electrolysis equipment, including different current types such as thermolysis and blend methods.
The aim is to ensure controlled application, accuracy, and effective removal of blemishes.
Infection Control & Client Safety
This section focuses on maintaining hygiene standards and preventing cross-contamination. You will learn the correct use of PPE and safe handling of equipment.
It ensures safe working practices throughout all treatment procedures.
Consultation, Contraindications & Risk Management

Entry Requirement
A relevant qualification in beauty therapy, skincare, aesthetics or a related field is recommended. Previous experience in facial or skin treatments, together with a basic understanding of anatomy, consultation and professional hygiene, is also beneficial. Applicants without all of this prior knowledge may still be considered, as the essential foundation principles will be introduced, reviewed and reinforced throughout the course.
Duration
This CPD course is delivered over 2 days with a total of 16 guided learning hours.
The training includes both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

The cost of the course is £880.00.
Qualification Awarded
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a CPD certificate awarded by Divine Hair and Beauty Training Academy.
