Course Content
The qualification will cover the following areas:
Consultation Principles for Non-surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures
Learners will develop advanced consultation skills including client assessment, treatment planning, informed consent procedures and suitability evaluation.
Psychological Impacts and Client Expectations
This unit explores the psychological aspects of aesthetic treatments, client motivations, expectation management and professional communication.
Managing Risks, Complications and Sub-optimal Outcomes
Learners will gain knowledge of risk assessment, prevention and management of complications, emergency procedures and client safety protocols.
Aesthetic Injectable Procedures Using Botulinum Toxin
Training covers the theory and practical application of botulinum toxin procedures for facial and neck treatment areas, including treatment planning and safe administration techniques.
Aesthetic Injectable Procedures Using Dermal Fillers
Learners will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to safely perform dermal filler procedures using both needle and cannula techniques.
Entry Requirement
Learners must be aged 18 years or over.
Applicants are required to hold a recognised Level 5 Certificate in Non-surgical Aesthetic Procedures for Skin Rejuvenation or an equivalent qualification.
Learners must also hold a regulated Level 3 Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis qualification.
Duration
This qualification includes approximately 180 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and 307 Total Qualification Time (TQT).
