Health & Safety and Clinical Environment

This section focuses on maintaining a safe and hygienic clinical environment. Learners will understand infection control, cross-contamination prevention, sharps safety, and compliance with UK health and safety regulations relevant to aesthetic procedures involving skin penetration.

Anatomy & Physiology

Learners will study the structure of the skin, eyebrow hair anatomy, and the healing process following microblading. Understanding these principles is essential for correct pigment implantation and achieving safe, effective results.

Brow Mapping & Facial Design

This section introduces advanced brow mapping techniques, facial proportions, and symmetry principles. Learners will develop the ability to design customised eyebrow shapes that enhance natural facial features and achieve balanced aesthetic outcomes.

Pigments and Colour Theory

Learners will understand pigment types, undertones, and colour selection strategies. This includes matching pigments to skin tone and natural hair colour to achieve realistic and long-lasting results.

Microblading Techniques

Learners will develop knowledge of advanced microblading techniques, including hair stroke patterns, feathering, and combination shading methods. Emphasis is placed on precision, control, and achieving natural-looking results.

Consultation, Contraindications & Risk Management

Learners will understand how to carry out professional consultations, assess client suitability, identify contraindications, and manage client expectations to ensure safe and appropriate treatments.

Treatment Procedure & Aftercare

This section covers the full microblading procedure from preparation to completion, including pigment implantation and post-treatment care. Learners will also understand healing stages and how to provide effective aftercare guidance.

 

Entry Requirement

Previous knowledge or experience in beauty or aesthetic treatments is recommended. A basic understanding of hygiene, client consultation and eyebrow shaping is also beneficial. Applicants without all of this prior knowledge may still enrol, as the essential foundation principles relating to skin anatomy, infection prevention, brow design and safe microblading practice will be introduced and reinforced throughout the course.

Duration

This CPD course is delivered over 2 days with a total of 16 guided learning hours. The training includes theoretical learning, demonstration, and supervised practical observation.

Costs

The cost of the course is £800.00.

Qualification Awarded

Upon successful completion, learners will receive a CPD certificate awarded by Divine Hair and Beauty Training Academy. The course is designed in line with CPD standards and reflects current industry practice.

KIT Required

Learners must attend in professional uniform (tunic, black trousers, closed shoes).

Course fees are non-refundable once confirmed. Certificates are issued only after successful completion of both theory and practical components.
